Welcome to the
Alien Lands Asset Pack!
600+ assets for RPGs or survival games,
with more to come
You've found yourself stranded on an alien planet! Or maybe you're just exploring the Universe, or you've built an outpost on this planet.
This pack contains over 600 assets, such as tilesets, one animated character, furniture, resourses, crops and vegetation, inventory items etc., all with a Sci-fi, alien planet theme, and in bright, vibrant colours.
All assets come as individual asperite and .png files, with .gif files for animations, and are also thematically organized in spritesheets (e.g. characters, vegetation, tilesets etc).
Here's a more detailed list:
- 8 full exterior tilesets: grass, dirt, water and hills, in all relevant combinations
- 17 terrain details
- 9 interior tilesets: 4 walls and 5 floors (room connecting tiles to come in an update)

- 1 modular base (player home), in 4 colours, with connectors, that can be expanded in any direction and in any combination. Has a door animation
- both door animations also come separately
- 1 force field fence

- 30 trees (6 types, 5 colours each)
- 10 bushes (2 types, 5 colours each)

- tools: pickhammer, chainsaw and waterhose (3-directional sprites)
- resources:
- 1 wood
- 12 rocks: 6 types, with brown and grey variants
- 7 ore veins, each with its corresponding ore sprite, plus 1 gem vein
- 7 ingots, for each ore type
- 49 gems: 7 types, with 7 colours each
- 79 inventory items, for all the gems, ingots, crops and tools
- 1 toolbar UI icon, and 1 inventory UI icon, both in light and dark variants
- furniture: 26 pieces, all with 4 directional placement sprites:

nightstand, lamp, dresser, potted plants
- kitchen: fridge, stove, 4 counters, 2 plates, one cup, tablemats
- 6 character sprites (1 male and 1 female, both with 3 colour variants)
- all characters come with static sprites, and with 4-directional idle and walk animations (more to come in an update)
- a few small decorations
The following will come in a future update, most likely in the weeks following the release, but with no established timeline:
- at least one more colour variation for the furniture
- character attack and death animations
- one animated enemy
- a weapon (most likely a gun, to fit the theme)
- room connecting tiles for the interior tilesets
- a crafting station
- a few food items
- possible additions: anything else I might think of, or that you might suggest and is feasible.

Update 1 - Furniture Variation
Hi all!
I just uploaded the first update, which contains more furniture variation. No unique assets were added, just two more colour variants.
The update has a total of 75 assets, split in 2 spritesheets: a new colour (orange) for all assets that could have fabric, and a wood variation, for all items that could be made out of wood.
Please note that the wood on this planet is teal, and so is the furniture.
I added 2 new screenshots to the pool, to showcase them: the one containing orange furniture, and the teal wood one.
The next update will be the missing character animations, and one animated enemy.
That's all for now, hope more variation is welcome!
Update 2 - Character and enemy animations
Hi everyone!
I have finally uploaded the second update, that contains a total of 68 animations!
It has the missing animations for all character variations, and I also added one animated alien enemy. All animations are 4-dimensional. Here's a more detailed list:
- character death, damage and attack animations
- enemy idle, walk, attack, damage and death animations
- separate spritesheets for each animation type (the character attack also has a spritesheet without the weapon included)
- one spritesheet for the weapon (a laser gun type), with 4-directional sprites, an inventory icon, and all firing effect sprites for each frame, also four directional (in case you want to make the range longer)
It's very possible that I'll combine all the remaining things planned into one final update. Until then, I hope you'll find this one useful!

Look like a DLC for Mars Base, very cool! Thanks for the assets.
Ha ha, good point! :D Except this one is set on a more alien feeling planet, with the sludge green waters, and lots of alien vegetation :) But I could see it incorporated there! I've had that game on my wishlist forever, but I played the demo and it feels like something's missing, not sure what.. Hoping there will be more updates. Thank you, and hope it's useful and fun to use!
I wanted to make similar games but for android myself, maybe now with your assets, I can do this? :D What things are you missing in your opinion in Mars Base? I would love to hear some clues.
Hmmm, I don't know what's missing in terms of assets or things to do, because I only played a part of the demo. In my opinion, it just doesn't feel good, the controls were really clunky, especially when going through the UI. I don't remember if there also weren't any tooltips? But I might be mistaking it for another game. and there's no clear sense of direction in the beginning. That's just what I remember, I haven't played it since the demo first came out. But to summarise, smooth movement, clear tooltips and good UI usage are essential to a decent game :) It doesn't matter how good the mechanics are, if it just doesn'g run smoothly. If you do make a similar game, please let me know, I would love to try it out! I'm a huge fan of farming rpgs :D
Okay! Thank you. I'll surely let you know :) Also, you can visit my itch.io for "farming like" game, my first game actually - Carpentry Strory. Maybe you'll like it!
He he, I already checked your page, and added the game to my collection, to test it out when I have some time :D Hopefully that will be during the weekend :) It really looked like something up my alley!
This has been done so well. It would be nice if there was a spacecraft, perhaps crashed and damaged. No need for an interior; although, that would seriously rock.
Thank you, hope you'll find cool uses for it! :D Wow, that's indeed a great idea! No promises about the interior, but as a prop, I think I might just make the exterior in a future update! :D
Nice! Would love to see some alien creatures and maybe alternate biomes or underground areas.
Thank you! :D At least one alien creature is on my list for future updates. I'll consider other biomes (I'll put in on my list), but I can't make any promise on that yet. If I decide to do it, I'll definitely add it to the pack :)
You could make them separate packs, that would be fine. I bought this pack as-is, and I don't mind paying for more content.
Oh, that would be a good idea, thanks for the suggestion! :D This pack will still get at least the updates in the description, as I consider them essential myself :) Hope you enjoy it!
I'm glad to see an original asset driven by creativity! I'd love to see the future updates, more versatility would absolutely make it a must have :D
Thank you so much!! I did try to make something that seemed to be not so common. I hope the updates will make it more rounded!
